CBSE Class 12 Sociology Syllabus 2024-25: The Central Board of Secondary, CBSE’s new syllabus for Class 12 Sociology is available here. The board has recently released officially for the current academic session 2024-2025.
The CBSE Class 12 Sociology curriculum is designed to meet the following objectives:
- To enable students understand the dynamics of human behaviour in all its complexities and manifestations.
- To develop an analytical approach in students towards the social structure so that they can meaningfully participate in the process of social change.
- To introduce them to the basic concepts of Sociology that would enable them to observe and interpret social life.
- To build the capacity of students to understand and analyze the changes in contemporary Indian society.
- To make them aware of the complexity of social processes.
The syllabus includes appropriate exercises and project work to enhance learning and develop critical thinking skills.
