CBSE Class 12 Sociology Syllabus 2024-25

CBSE Class 12 Sociology Syllabus 2024-25: The Central Board of Secondary, CBSE’s new syllabus for Class 12 Sociology is available here. The board has recently released officially for the current academic session 2024-2025.

The CBSE Class 12 Sociology curriculum is designed to meet the following objectives:

To enable students understand the dynamics of human behaviour in all its complexities and manifestations.
To develop an analytical approach in students towards the social structure so that they can meaningfully participate in the process of social change.
To introduce them to the basic concepts of Sociology that would enable them to observe and interpret social life.
To build the capacity of students to understand and analyze the changes in contemporary Indian society.
To make them aware of the complexity of social processes.

The syllabus includes appropriate exercises and project work to enhance learning and develop critical thinking skills.
