At present there are 38 white tigers in the world out, of which 24 are in India.
The white tiger is a magnificent animal. It has a snow-white coat with brown or ash coloured strips and is larger than a normal tiger. About 10 years ago, it was reported that there are light coloured tigers in the forests of Assam, Bengal and Bihar, but they were not truly white tigers, The forests of Rewa are the only regions where real white tigers are found.
