Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held a two day training conference at The Indian High School, Dubai to prepare global learners with most advanced skills.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held a two day training conference at The Indian High School, Dubai to prepare global learners with most advanced skills. The conference brought to an end on 25 September 2013.
The CBSE School Principals and other heads of the Gulf region took participation in the conference. The day 1 workshop went after the conference on 'Equipping Global Learners with 21st Century Skills’. The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Pallam Raju (Minister for Human Resource Development of Government of India).
Vineet Joshi (CBSE Chairman,) at the conference, spoke on the topics of current scheme and initiatives on skill development of teachers, evaluation of speaking & listening skills, open text-based assessment, gender sensitivity issue in schools and standard and value of education.
The event observed discussion and exchange of ideas between the present academicians and CBSE officials. Imperative issues pertaining to preparing the core curriculum with having effective transaction, modern-day teaching methodologies with respect to global perspective and steady capacity building of teachers for future were intended at the two day event.
CBSE's project towards Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) that aims to perk up student's performance by testing it at regular intervals was also a part of the workshop.
