The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi declared Preliminary Examination Result for All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, 2012 on 14 April 2012. The result was declared for admission to the 15% merit positions of Medical/ Dental Colleges of India.
A total of 30788 candidates qualified for appearing in the Final Stage Examination which wil be conducted by CBSE on 13 May 2012.

Out of 275742 registered candidates, 257960 candidates appeared in the Preliminary Stage Examination.
The details of category wise candidates selected are as follows:

The minimum qualification to take this exam was 10+2 Higher/ Senior Secondary Examination comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English with 50% marks in PCB for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
