Central Board of Irrigation and Power, New Delhi invited application for admission to 52 weeks Post Graduate Diploma Course (PGDC) in Thermal Power Plant Engineering (TPPE) (4th Batch) and 52 weeks Post Diploma Course (PDC) in TPPE (2nd Batch). Interested candidates should apply online on or before 06 September 2014.

Maximum Age limit: 

For non-sponsored candidates: 27 years

For sponsored candidates: no age limit

Qualifications: BE/B.Sc. (Engg.), AMIE or equivalent degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Control & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication/ Power Engineering OR Graduate Engineers with at least one year post qualification experience.

Admission Procedure:  Admission will be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10th, 12th & B.E. or equivalent examination or Gate‐2014.

2. Post Diploma Course (PDC) in Thermal Power Plant Engineering (TPPE) (2nd Batch): 2014- 2015

Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical OR Diploma holders with at least one year post qualification experience.

Admission Procedure:  Admission will be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10th, 12th & Diploma.

Application fee: Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through a crossed demand draft of Rs. 400 drawn in favour of CBIP payable at New Delhi.

How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through CBIP website www.cbip.org on or before the prescribed last date for the concerned course and send the hard-copy of the applications along with application fee DD and attested copies of required certificates/ documents/ testimonials to ‘The Secretary, Central Board of Irrigation and Power, Malcha Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021’ by post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before the prescribed last date for the concerned course.
