State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), Chandigarh invited applications from eligible candidates who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following posts of “Coordinator” for Disaster Management in different fields in Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management. The posts are purely on contract basisinitially for the period of one year.The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 30 June 2014.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria :
(i) Master Degree in Social Sciences/ Rural Development/ Public Administration/ Disaster Management from a recognized University.
(ii) Master Degree in Social Sciences/ Logistics Management/ MBA from a recognized University.
(iii) Master Degree in Social Sciences/ Public Administration /Disaster Management from a recognized University.
(iv) At least Ten Years of experience in the development/social sector having relevance to disaster management training.
(v) Proficiency in computer working and web applications.
(vi) Good Punjabi conversation proficiency.
Age Limit &Relaxation
Age Limit for the candidate should be 55 years as on 01 January 2014and Age Relaxation for category as per rules.
Pay Scale/ Salary
Consolidated Salary of Rs. 50,000/- Per Month.
Selection Procedure
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical Test/ Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.
