The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the change in the date of the examination for its Indian School Certificate (Class 12) History subject exam in view of the clashing dates with the Lok Sabha polls.
As per the CISCE circular issued on March 10, about the new rescheduled date of ISC History exam, which originally was to be conducted on 7 April 2014 (Monday), the exam will now held on 11 April 2014 (Friday).
The CISCE’s Chief executive and secretary, Gerry Arathoon issued An official letter to the principals of affiliated schools mentioning that the dates on which the 16th Lok Sabha Elections are going to be held in various parts of the country have been announced. The elections have been scheduled on April 7, 2014 for a number of states. In view of this, it has been decided to change the date of ISC History 2014 examination from Monday 07 April 2014 at 2pm to Friday, 11 April 2014 at 2pm.
