Candidates applying for CMAT 2020 must keep the following important things in mind while filling the CLAT 2020 application form.
CLAT application form 2020 is available on the official CLAT website. CLAT 2020 application process would be completely online this year also but the exam would be held in offline mode. Aspirants can register for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in the online mode only through the official website of the law entrance exam. Candidates need to submit the completed application forms for CLAT 2020 latest by March 31, 2020.

CLAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CLAT, the candidates must have secured:
- Forty-five percent (45%) marks in Qualifying Exam (Class XII or equivalent) in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories.
- Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
The result of qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the course.

Candidates are advised to first ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions, requisite marks and claims under different categories etc., as stipulated in CLAT rules and by the respective NLUs. CLAT Consortium and organizing universities shall not be responsible for any loss. Mere submission of CLAT 2020 application does not confer on any candidate's right for admission. Admission is subject to verification of documents, minimum qualifications and other eligibility conditions prescribed as per CLAT rules.

Register for CLAT 2020
To register for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), candidates need to fill their details such as their name, mobile number, email address and password. After filling all these details aspirants need to click on the 'Submit' button.
To activate their account, candidates need to enter their Mobile number and the OTP received on their mobile during the registration process. After entering the Mobile number and OTP in the form aspirants need to click the 'Activate' button to activate their account.
Login to fill CLAT application form 2020
On filling these details candidates are led to a page wherein they are provided instructions on how to fill their CLAT application form 2020. Some of the mentioned instructions are:

Preview CLAT 2020 Application Form
Finally, candidates are shown a preview of their filled application form for CLAT exam. After checking all the details mentioned by them, candidates need to click on the 'Submit' button. After clicking on the 'Submit' button, a dialogue box opens which asks candidates to ensure that all the data entered by them is correct because aspirants would not be allowed to make any changes in data once they submit their application form.
Select Test Centre and NLU Preference
Candidates need to provide three cities where they would prefer appearing for the CLAT 2020 and thereafter mention the NLU where they would like to secure admission. After filling these details, candidates need to click on the button stating - Save Test Centre and Admission Preference. Lastly candidates are provided a preview of the information submitted by them and thereafter they need to click on the 'Submit' button.

CLAT 2020 – Payment of Exam Fees
CLAT exam fee can be paid by candidates online through the payment gateway 'Razorpay'. Candidates need to note that additional bank charges may apply for online transactions.
