The counseling schedule for the first round of Engineering Course admissions under COMEDK UGET 2014 has been released. As per the schedule, the counseling for admission to Engineering colleges in Karnataka will be held through 10 dates viz. from 07 July 7 to 16 July 2014. Admission counseling for Architecture courses will be conducted on only one day on 17 July 2014 for all ranks.

3. 09 July 2014, Wednesday: Ranks 5,101 to 7,800
4. 10 July 2014, Thursday: Ranks 7,801 to 10,500
5. 11 July 2014, Friday: Ranks 10,501 to 13,650
6. 12 July 2014, Saturday: Ranks 13,651 to 16,950
7. 13 July 2014, Sunday: Ranks 16,951 to 20,250
8. 14 July 2014, Monday: Ranks 20,251 to 24,750
9. 15 July 2014, Tuesday: Ranks 24,751 to 31,650
10. 16 July 2014, Wednesday: Ranks 31,651 to 43,179
On each counseling date, a total of seven rank-wise sessions will be held. Candidates would need to attend the sessions corresponding to their secured rank in COMEDK UGET 2014.
The time slot for each session on Counseling day are as follow: Session - 1 (from 8:30 AM), Session - 2 (from 10:00 AM), Session - 3 (from 11:30 AM), Session - 4 (from 1:00 PM), Session - 5 (from 2:30 PM), Session - 6 (from 4:00 PM) and Session - 7 (from 5:30 PM).
More than 150 Engineering Colleges are participating in admission procedure through COMEDK UGET 2014 scores.
COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka”. In order to offer an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative testing procedure, the COMEDK conducts an Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) to determine the merit of students seeking admissions to the undergraduate courses in the Member Institutions of the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF). There are 14 Medical, 25 Dental and more than 150 engineering colleges who make available almost 20,000 seats for admission.
The exam is divided into three categories: the first category is for candidates applying for engineering courses, the second category is for those candidates applying for medical and dental courses and finally the third category is for candidates wanting to apply for engineering, medical and dental courses.
