XLRI will be conducting the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for the year 2013 on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) on 06 January 2013. Approximately 100 institutes consider XAT score for admission in their MBA Programs. There are many courses offered by XLRI. Please find the details below
Program Details
1.Human Resource Management (HRM) – It is an on campus program for two years. Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university from India/abroad are eligible to apply. Those completing their final examination by 10 June 2013 may also apply. As the name suggests it is a course with specialization in Human Resource. Candidates studying HRM, take par in the Human Resource Management role in an organization which mainly involves recruitment, training and payroll related work.
2.Business Management (BM) – This too is an on campus program for two years. Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university from India/abroad are eligible to apply. Those completing their final examination by 10 June 2013 may also apply.
3.General Management Program - This course recognized by AICTE as being equivalent to PG Diploma in General Management, incorporates a 3 months hands-on experience in a relevant area. An applicant can be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university in India/abroad with at least 5 years of managerial supervisory experience by 31 March 2013. GMP candidate may choose to apply either to XAT 2013 or GMAT score (taken during 1 December 2010 to 22 December 2012). GMP Interview will take place during 17-23 January 2013.
4.Fellow Program in Management - Candidate should have a Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 years)/equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained Or a professional qualification like CA/ICWA/CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) Or BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and two years of relevant work experience.
