Eligibility Criteria for Scientists & Junior Engineer Posts 2015

Educational Qualification:

• Scientists ‘E’ & ‘B’ – Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University of Institution. Preferential: Master Degree in Engineering/Technology. OR. Essential: Master degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences from and recognized university or Institution. Preferential: NET Qualified/Ph.D.
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution or equivalent. Desirable: One year experience in maintaining the office buildings/commercial complex, etc.
• Junior Engineer (E&M) – Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution or equivalent. Desirable: One year experience of electric/mechanical installations including generators, etc. in office buildings/commercial complex, etc.

Age Limit for Central Pollution Control Board Scientists & Junior Engineer Posts 2015

Age as on 14.11.2015: The minimum age should not be less than 18 years. However, the upper age limit is as per followings-

• Scientists ‘E’ – 50 Years
• Scientists ‘B’ – 35 Years
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – 25 Years
• Junior Engineer (E&M) – 25 Years
