Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Scientist, Jr. Scientific Assistant, Junior Laboratory Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Stenographer, Driver and some other posts.

The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement i.e., on or before 15 August 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for CPCB Junior Scientific Assistant, Jr. Laboratory Assistant & Other Posts:

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Scientist ‘B’: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology.
• Junior Scientific Assistant: Degree in Science with 4 years experience in the line preferably in Pollution Control or related subject.
• Junior Laboratory Assistant: 12^th passed with Science subject.
• Senior Technician: Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical or Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. 
• Junior Technician: 10^th passed with Certificate from ITI in the trade of Mechanical or Instrumentation or Electronics.
• Accounts Assistant: Bachelor degree in commerce with minimum 3 years experience in accounts, audit, cash handling or any other related work.
• Data Entry Operator Grade-II: 12^th passed or equivalent and Data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer.
• Stenographer: Bachelor degree or equivalent and Passing of the test in English Shorthand and Typing at a minimum speed of 100 wpm and 40 wpm respectively or Passing of test in Hindi Shorthand and Typing at a minimum speed of 100 wpm and 35 wpm respectively.
• Driver (Ordinary Grade): 8^th passed, Possessing a valid driving license for driving both light and heavy vehicles and Knowledge of motor mechanism.
• Senior Law Officer: Bachelor degree in Law.
• Law Officer: Bachelor degree in Law.
• Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor degree in commerce with minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory level or SAS Accountant.
• Senior Hindi Translator: Master Degree in Hindi/English.
• Technical Supervisor: Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 
• Senior Technical Supervisor: Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 
• Senior Scientific Assistant: Master Degree in Science with 2 years relevant experience.
