Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Software Engineer (ASE) Job
Educational Qualification
B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Information Technology or Computer Science & Information Technology or Computer Applications, or MCA or B.Sc (Computer Science – 4 Year degree course). Relevant Degree from an AICTE/UGC recognized institute, or equivalent qualification as per Govt. of India rules, with min. 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates); and GATE Scores as specified. Candidates with ME/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering can also apply, provided they possess the required GATE 2016 scores.
Age Limit for Assistant Software Engineer (ASE) Job
Gen: 22-27 years
OBC: 22-30 years
SC/ST: 22-32 years
Selection Procedure for Assistant Software Engineer (ASE) Posts
The GATE 2016 Score would be considered for placing the candidates in order of merit (in case two candidates have the same GATE 2016 score, then the one with the higher All India Rank would be placed higher in the order of merit; in case two candidates have the same GATE 2016 score and All India Rank, then the one with the earlier date of birth would be placed higher in the order of merit. In case of tie in date of birth also, candidate with higher marks / percentage in the qualifying examination will be placed higher in the order of merit). Candidates will be considered in this order of merit only.
