Eligibility Criteria for CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Sr. Technical Officer– B.E. / B.Tech. in Glass / Ceramic / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Metallurgy / Materials / Chemical / Instrumentation OR Equivalent with 55% marks with minimum 2 years' experience.

Technician – SSC / 10th Standard with Science subjects with 55% marks Plus ITI Certificate in Plumbing / Ceramic / Electrical / Fitter / IT / Instrumentation / Machinist / Tool & Die Maker / Turner (Mechanical) / Furnace / Ceramic & glass processing / Computer OR National / State trade certificate in the aforesaid trades OR 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the relevant trade.

Technical Assistant - 1st Class B. Sc with B. Lib. Science OR 1st Class Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Civil / Instrumentation / Computer / Electronics/Chemical of 3 years full time duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in case of lateral admission) or its equivalent after 10+2 in Science Stream OR 1st Class B.Sc. (Sci.) with one year full time Professional qualification or 1 year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organisation.

Technical Officer- B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical Engg./Materials and Metallurgy / Glass / Ceramics / Bio-Ceramics / Instrumentation / Opto-electronics / Computer / Electronics or equivalent with 55% marks.

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit (as on 30.04.2016):-  

Sr. Technical Officer– 35 Years

Technician – 28 Years

Technical Assistant - 28 Years

Technical Officer- 30 Years

Relaxations:  Relaxation in upper age limited for OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.
