CUSAT CAT-2015 Exam Pattern

    The exam pattern for the CUSAT CAT-2015 will help a candidate in understanding the type and level of questions asked in the exam. Exam pattern tells a variety of features about the exam, question paper and marking scheme. Candidates should try to solve the mock test or sample papers for the engineering entrance exam so that they can handle the stress during the exam easily. Candidates can read the exam pattern below:

    • Candidates would be asked a total of 250 questions in the exam.
    • The CUSAT CAT-2015 Exam will comprise of two papers as follows:
    • Paper 1: Mathematics with 125 questions
    • Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry with 125 questions in the ratio 3:2
    • Questions would be of as per the syllabus.
    • Distribution of questions – 125 questions from Mathematics, 75 from Physics and 50 from Chemistry.
    • According to CUSAT CAT-2015 exam pattern, type of questions asked in the exams will be of multiple choices only.
    • Candidates have to choose one correct option out of the given 4 options.
    • Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
    • For every right answer 3 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted. No marks will be awarded to an unmarked question.
