The last date for online registration for various undergraduate engineering programmes of the Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), CAT (Common Admission Test) and LET (Lateral Entry Test) 2015 has been extended to February 3rd, 2015. The last date of issue and submission of application form for admission to M.Phil, Ph.D, Diploma and Certificate programmes of the University has been extended up to February 7th, 2015. The Cochin University of Science and Technology came into exsistence in 1971  with an objective of promoting graduate and post-graduate studies and advanced research in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science. In February 1986, University of Cochin was reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). CUSAT offers various engineering specializations under its schools and different engineering departments. The list of such schools is as follows:


  • School of Engineering, Trikkakara (Faculty of Engineering)
  • Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (Faculty of Engineering)


  • Department of Instrumentation (Faculty of Technology) at Trikkakara
  • Department of Polymer Science & Rubber Technology (Faculty of Technology) at Trikkakara
