The Delhi University is expected to release the fourth cut off list for 2012 on 10 July 2012. Even though the first three lists had a considerable gap in the percentage, they failed to offer any respite to the students. With the fourth list coming out this month, a very small percentage of seats remain to be filled in the popular colleges.
Almost thirty six colleges have closed their shutters for B Com (hons) giving commerce aspirants enough reasons to worry. However, colleges such as Lady Shri Ram, Kirorimal and Hindu introduced a dip in their cut off’s for B Com (hons) up to 0.5%.The most interesting landmark in Delhi University admissions this year is, SRCC after a long spell have come up with their second cut off list for general category candidates.
With the seats for popular courses such as B Com (hons), Eco (hons) and English (hons) filling up at a lightning speed, it may a tough bet for students who are still hopeful to get into the crème colleges with the same courses. This year also saw a marginal rise in courses such as Microbiology, Zoology and Physics. At Hansraj and KMC, Zoology hons stood at 90% and 88% respectively.
With the fourth list coming out within a couple of days, students are still hard pressed for luck and it may be difficult to predict whether this list would be a breather , but the fingers are never the less crossed. For the fourth cut off list , Delhi University 2012, watch out for THIS space.
