Department of Atomic Energy Notified Recruitment to 22 Various Posts 2014

Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy, General Services invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1991 in General Services Organisation, Kalpakkam in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. This selection is only for Apprenticeship training on Stipendiary basis. The eligible candidates can apply online before 05 September 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Electrician : SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
2. Mechanic(Motor Vehicle): SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
3. Refrigeration & AC Mechanic: SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
4. Fitter: SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
5. Plumber: SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
6. Carpenter: SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
7. Draughtsman(Civil): SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.
8. Programming and System Administration Assistant: H.Sc (12th Std.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Programming and System Administration Assistant or relevant Trade is essential.

Pay Scale

1. Electrician Rs.2,800/- pm
2. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) Rs.2,800/- pm
3. Refrigration & AC Mechanic Rs.2,800/- pm
4. Fitter Rs.2,800/- pm
5. Plumber Rs.2,400/- pm in 1st year  and Rs.2,800/- pm 2nd year
6. Carpenter Rs.2,400/-pm in 1st year and Rs.2,800/-pm 2nd year
7. draughtsman(Civil) Rs.2,800/- pm
8. Programming and System Administration Assistant Rs.2,100/pm

Selection Procedure

The applicants found suitable will be called for the written test/trade test/Viva voce test. The date and venue of the written test/trade test/Viva voce test will be informed through call letter.
