Directorate General BSF Notified Recruitment for 80 Group- 'C' Posts 2014

Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) invited applications for recruitment of various Group- 'C' posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 30 days from the date of Publication of the advertisement.

Pay Scale:

• Head Constable: Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
• Constable: Rs. 5200 -20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Head Constable: 10^th or equivalent and ITI certificate in trade of carpenter or Mason or Plumber or Blacksmith or Electrician or welder or Polisher or Painter or Machinist.
• Constable: 10^th or equivalent and ITI certificate in trade of carpenter.

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age should be between 18-25 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Application Fee

• General/OBC candidates need to pay Rs.50/- as application fees by Demand Draft or IPO.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Ex-Servicemen and BSF Candidates are exempted from fee.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, Documentation, Physical Standard Tests, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical test, Interview and Medical Examination.

• Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in notification.
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect along with DD and attested copies of all required Certificates/Documents should be submitted to the respective address as given in the notification within 30 days from the date of Publication of the advertisement.
