Eligibility Criteria for Project Assistant & Other Posts

Educational Qualification

• Scientist B, Scientist C (Non-Medical): Candidates should possess 1^stClass Master degree in Zoology/Bio-Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from a recognized university with two years’ experience or 2nd Class Master’s degree in Zoology /Bio-Chemistry + Ph.D. in relevant subjects from the recognized University with one-year experience.
• Project Assistant: Graduate in Life Science from a recognized university with three years’ work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Zoology/Bio-Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from the recognized University.
• Project Technician-I (Laboratory Attendant):High school or equivalent with one-year experience from a Government institution or recognized institute.
• Project Technician-III: 12th Pass in Science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician OR one-year DMLT plus one-year experience in a recognized organization.

Age Limit

• Scientist-B: Upper age limit for the post is 35 years.
• Scientist C: Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.
• Project Assistant: Upper age limit for the post is 30 years.
• Project Technician-I, Project Technician-III: Upper age limit for the post is 25 years.
