Staff Selection Commission conducted SSC Jr. Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Exam. The examination was held on 25^th May 2014 for recruitment to Group-B, Non-Gazetted, Non Ministerial post, classified as General Central Service (Technical), of Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical, Civil & Mechanical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contracts) in 5 departments.

The examination was divided into two shifts, i.e. Paper I and Paper II.

The Paper I comprised 3 Tests of Total 200 Questions including

         -  50 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning

         -  50 questions from General Awareness

         -  100 questions from General Engineering. 

The Paper II comprised three parts. The part-a included 100 questions Civil and structural, part-b included 100 questions from Electrical, and part-c included 100 questions from mechanical. The candidates have to attempt any one section out of three.
