DRDO CEPTAM 8 Tier I Exam is round the corner! The Tier I examination is scheduled to be held on 17 July. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced major changes for the Tier II exam. Candidates should note that only those who qualify the Tier I exam will be eligible to appear for the Tier II exam.
Changes in the vacancy for DRDO CEPTAM 8
DRDO had invited application for recruitment to 1142 posts through an advertisement released in the Employment News (16-22 January 2016). However DRDO has made certain amendments in the number of STA ’B’ vacancies. Currently a total of 647 vacancies are available for the post of STA ‘B’. Scheme of Tier II exam for DRDO CEPTAM 8
After the Tier I exam, candidates will be further shortlisted for the Tier II exam, in the ratio 1:6 for the STA ‘B’ & Junior Translator and 1:8 for all other posts where skill/ trade test are mandatory. The Tier II examination will be held in 5-6 major cities of the country depending upon the shortlisted candidates. the Tier II examination will be OMR based and will consist of 60 questions. Mode of Final Selection for DRDO CEPTAM 8 Exam
The final selection will be based on combined merit of post/ category/ sub-category of the candidates on the basis of the marks obtained in the written exam of Tier I and Tier II exam taken together in the ratio of 85% and 15% respectively.
