Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL), Visakhapatnam invited applications from male candidates only for recruitment as Trainees in various disciplines to work on DCI Dredgers and other vessels on Contract basis. Interested male candidates should send their applications along with copies of required documents to DCIL, Visakhapatnam so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 11 July 2014.

Vacancy Details:

Type of recruitment: on contract basis

1. Trainee (Seaman)/ NCV Trainee (GP Rating):

Eligibility Criterion: Class 10^th pass + Pre-Sea GP rating course + passed DG Shipping approved Exit Exam

2. Trainee (Cooks):

Eligibility Criterion: Degree/ Diploma in any catering discipline with 12 days/ 18 days Orientation course from DG Shipping approved Institute.

3. Trainee (Stewards):

Eligibility Criterion: Class 12^th pass + 6 months certificate course in Maritime Catering from DG Shipping approved Institute.
Maximum Age Limit: less than 25 years (as on 30 May 2014)

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

The period of onboard training for Trainee Cooks will be 6 months, for Trainee Stewards will be 12 months and for Trainee (Seaman)/ NCV Trainee will be 18 months.

Travel Allowance: Outstation SC/ ST candidates appearing for Interview will be paid to and fro sleeper class train fare/ bus fare on production of travel proof.
