University of Delhi is starting the applications for admissions to Undergraduate courses for academic session 2018-2019. Students seeking admissions to UG courses in various departments/faculty of the university can fill DU Registration Form 2018 from May 15, 2018. For the convenience of students, the university will be providing ‘DU Open Days’ session where they can get answers to all queries regarding admission, registration, information on courses on basis of merit score and entrance test as well as the schedule for announcement of Cut off lists and admission counselling related queries by students. For attending DU Open Days 2018 sessions, students can visit Conference Centre, Near Gate no. 4, North Campus, University of Delhi.

Question: How to register for DU Admissions 2018?

Answer: Students can register in online mode for UG courses offered at University of Delhi from May 15, 2018. There is no other source of application for admissions at Delhi University. The students can visit the official website of DU and apply as mentioned below –

  1. Register: Students first need to register their basic details like name, phone number, email id and security question for DU Admission 2018
  2. Fill up the application form: After registration, they can login to fill details like personal information, academic details, Quota/Category, and bank details etc.
  3. Upload documents: After filling the form, students are required to upload documents like photograph, signature and caste/category/sport qualification certificates.
  4. Pay the application fee: The application fee for DU Admission 2018 can be paid in online mode using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking and Paytm option.

Answer: The students having Gap year will be considered equivalent to students passing the qualifying examination in the same year. Question: I did not have Mathematics in class 12th. Can I opt for B.A (H) Economics/B.Com (H)/ BMS/BBA (FIA)/ BA (H) Business Economics?

Answer: Students who do not have Mathematics as a main/elective subject in Class 12th qualifying examination are not eligible to take admission in B.A (Hons.) Economics, B.Com (Hons.), BMS/BBA (FI) and B.A. (Hons.) in Business Economics courses

Question: Can I take admission in two different courses or same course in different colleges after the declaration of DU cut off list 2018?

Answer: Students cannot take admission to more than one course or same course in different colleges of Delhi University. In case, any student secures admission in more than one course on in the same course at two or more colleges then their admission will be cancelled.

 

Question: I have completed my class 12th from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). Can I get admission in a regular college?

Answer: Yes, students passing Class 12th qualifying examination from National Institute of Open Schooling are eligible for admission to regular courses. They need to fulfil relevant eligibility criteria for DU Admissions 2018 and required marks as per the cut off list of DU Admissions.

Question: If Class 12th result is awaited, Can I submit the online registration form?

Answer: Yes, students are eligible to register and fill DU Application Form 2018 even if their result is not declared by their Board. They need to select ‘Awaited’ under Result Status category while filling up application form of DU Admissions 2018.
