The recruiting companies are targeting the second year students in D.U instead of the final year students. For more information, read ahead.
Delhi University is indeed going through a sea change this year inclusive of what we are just going to talk about. The new trend that has kick started this year is that, the recruiting companies are targeting the second year students instead of the final year students.
This trend is a shift in the otherwise different trend of contacting the final year students. In colleges like Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) it has happened for the very first time that several organizations have contacted the second year students than the third year ones.
The offers coming the way are summer internships and regular jobs. And apparently, more than thirty second year students have already got offers from companies such as JSW Steel and Barclays India.
This can be easily called an emerging trend , and may have a science of Human Resource behind it.
In total, one hundred and forty students have been placed at SRCC. The highest pay package offered up is of Rs 15 lakhs per annum, while the average pay packet remains at Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum.
