DU Students will set off Educational Train Journey to Study Urbanization in Five Cities

    The Delhi University students are all set to kick the fourth edition of an educational train journey to study urbanization models in five cities, as announced by the varsity on 04 March 2014. They start their journey from 11 March 2014, and will complete it by 19 March 2014.  

    The university takes on this educational journey every year with a new theme. This year the theme of this educational tour is 'Urbanization Now and Then'.

    "The journey will assess the urbanization models of various Indian cities and the changes in the dynamics of governance," said an official.  

    The students will visit six different cities in three states such as Kanpur and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and Surat and Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

    As told by a university spokesman to IANS, the number of students who will travel is yet to reveal by the varsity.
