Delhi University declared the third cutoff list for admission to various colleges in the Capital. With the release of the new cutoff, popular courses such as B.Com, English and Economics Honors are still open for admission.
Though the unreasonably high first cutoff, had led to disappointment but subsequently the second and third cutoff list have brought relief to admission seekers.
In addition to the popular courses much sought after colleges are also open for admission. Hindu, Hans Raj, Gargi and Lady Shri Ram College are continuing to admit students. English is open in 28 colleges followed by B.Com (H) and Economics in 17 and 16 colleges, respectively.
While courses like Statistics, Journalism, Philosophy and Sanskrit are open in the third list at Lady Shri Ram College; Gargi College is open in B.Com (H), English and Political Science. The cutoff has also dropped for many colleges. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College cutoff dropped to 0.33%, while in Ram Lal Anand it has dropped by 0.5% in each of B.Com and BCom (H) courses.
