Delhi University will release its fourth cut off list on Saturday ie 2 July 2011. However, there is not much scope for general category students seeking admission in this prestigious university. The fourth cut off list will bring a respite for OBC category students as the colleges are making effort to fill the sanctioned number of OBC seats.
Sri Venkateswara College has 296 sanctioned seats for OBC students of which only 157 have been filled. LSRC (Lady Sri Ram College) has seats available for Sanskrit (Hons) and Psychology (Hons) under the OBC category. Delhi College of Arts and Commerce will continue with its OBC admissions for 75 vacant seats.
Amongst the North Campus colleges, Hans Raj College has 310 seats reserved for OBC students of which only 135 seats have been filled. It may release a fourth list for Sanskrit (Hons) and Hindi (Hons). Hindu college has 30 more seats vacant for OBC category and will have another list for Sanskrit (Hons).
After the colleges have exhausted the third cut off list, there is little hope left for admission for General category students.
