Eligibility Criteria for ESIC, Hyderabad Teaching & Resident Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
- Professor: Medical qualification, MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery), Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline & Doctorate degree with minimum 4 years teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned speciality.
- Associate Professor: Medical qualification, MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery), Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline & Doctorate degree with minimum 5 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned speciality.
- Assistant Professor: Medical qualification, MD/MS, Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline & Doctorate degree with minimum 3 years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor.
- Tutor: General Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Orthopedics, Dermeto Dermatology, Psychiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pathology and forensic medicine, MBBS degree Anatomy: MBBS Degree, MSc in anatomy/Biochemistry.
- Senior Resident: MBBS, MD/MS/MDS/Diploma in the concerned specialty with 1 year teaching experience, DNB in concerned specialty and should have registered with MCI or State Medical Council.
- Junior Resident: General Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Orthopedics, Dermeto Dermatology, Psychiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pathology and forensic medicine, MBBS degree Anatomy: MBBS Degree, MSc in anatomy/Biochemistry.
Age Limit for Teaching & Resident posts
- Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant professor: Not exceeding 67 years
- Senior Residents: Not exceeding 35 years
- Tutors, Junior Residents: Not exceeding 30 years
