Panipat based The Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), has announced the examination dates for National Admission Test (NAT). NAT 2016 is scheduled to be held on June 3, 2016 and will screen students for admissions to different engineering programmes offered by APIIT. Listed among the top 10 Engineering Institutes based in Delhi/NCR; APIIT’s NAT holds great importance for students in north India. Students planning to apply for NAT 2016 can check important information like eligibility, application process and important dates below.
Eligibility: Candidates who have completed class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Computers as an elective can apply for NAT 2016.
Age Limit: The minimum age of applicant should be 17 years.
Test Pattern: NAT 2016 test paper will consist of 100 questions with 50 questions each from Physics and Mathematics sections. The duration of the test would be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each correct answer will carry 3 marks, while every wrong answer would attract negative score of 1 mark.
Examination Fees: NAT 2016 attracts applications fees of Rs 700, which is to be paid in the form of a demand draft drawn in the favour of ‘"APIIT SD INDIA", payable at Panipat.
Application Process: Interested candidates are required to submit the duly filled application forms along with the demand draft to APIIT SD India, Faridpur Road, GT Road, Karnal Side, Near Toll Plaza, Panipat- 132103 (Haryana).
