Reserve Bank of India is all set to conduct Online Examination for the recruitment to fill the 525 posts of Assistant in different state offices of RBI. The test will be conducted online tentatively on 20 July 2013, 21 July 2013, 27 July 2013, and 28 July 2013.
The Online Exam will be in Objective mode and will comprise 200 Objective Type Questions, each carrying one mark making a total of 200 marks. The total time duration for the test is 2 hours.

The above test will be available bilingually, i.e., in Hindi and English except for the Test of English.

Negative Marking Scheme
There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the Objective Tests. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Therefore, candidates are advised to complete the test within the stipulated time frame by carefully answer to only those questions for which they are certain of being right.
Cutoff Scheme
In order to qualify the Online Exam, a candidate has to secure a minimum standardized score decided by the RBI in each section of the Objective test. Only those qualifying candidates will be called for the Interview (next stage of the selection process) who stands sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Objective Tests. Such merit will be decided by the RBI in accordance to the available vacancies.
