Reserve Bank of India notified recruitment to fill in 525 posts of Assistant in different state offices of RBI across the nation. Interested yet eligible candidates may apply online before 20 June 2013.
Selection Procedure
Phase I: Online Examination
The Online Exam will comprise Objective Type Questions that will include 200 Multiple Choice Questions in all comprising five distinctive sections for the following tests:
- Test of Reasoning
- Test of English Language
- Test of Numerical Ability
- Test of General Awareness
- Test of computer Knowledge
The test will be of 200 marks with each question carries one mark. And, the total time duration for the test is 2 hours.
In order to qualify the Online Exam, a candidate has to make it in every section separately. Candidates will have to secure the minimum cut-off marks decided by the RBI in each section of the Objective test.
Phase II: Interview
A list of the candidates successful in Online Exam will be made available on the official website of RBI. After that, only those successful candidates will be summoned for the Interview who secured sufficiently high positions in merit prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the Objective Exam. Such merit will be decided by the RBI in relation to the available vacancies.
Final Selection
The final selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s combined performance in the Online Test and Interview, and the list of the finally selected candidates will tentatively be published on RBI’s website or in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar.
