Exam Tips for SSC Stenographer (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) Examination 2012

Very important Tips for the students who is going to appear in the Stenographer Examination on 29th July 2012 conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct the first stage Examination (Objective Type) on 29th July 24, 2012. The Examination will consist three parts;

General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Questions)
General Awareness (50 Questions)
English Language and Comprehension (100 Questions)
The maximum marks-200.
Total time of the Exam is 2 Hours and 2 Hours 40 minutes for VH Category Candidates.

There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. Candidates are advised to avoid answering those questions about which they are not sure otherwise the negative marking can hamper their result.
Now the students, who are going to appear, should take care of few things just before the examination day.
1.Do not try to learn new things.
2.Just repeat the basic concepts and try to be more familiar with it.
3.Review all you’re the study material which you have gone through.
4.Don’t do night outs before the examination day, this will result in lack of sleep and create stress on mind.
5.Get a good sleep before the exam’s day.
6.Try to make your mind fresh and alive.
7.Avoid taking stress of anything.
8.Be confident and don’t think anything negative about your preparation. Because you are not going to get 100% marks in the exam but you are going to do your best.

On the day of the exam you can also follow few tips which can be helpful for you. Here are some more points regarding the Exam day;
1.Get up early in the morning after taking good sleep.
2.Get fresh yourself.
3.Have a light Breakfast.
4.Get ready for the exam and collect all the necessary things related to the exam like Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener, Pen and your Admit card of the Exam.
5.Reach the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the Schedule.
6.Fill all the information which is required carefully.
7.You can attempt the paper in the order; General Awareness then General Intelligence & Reasoning and then English Language & Comprehension.
8.The ideal time required to solve the section can be 20 minutes for General Awareness, 35 minutes for General Intelligence & Reasoning and 65 minutes for English Language & Comprehension. But the time depends upon the level of difficult of the paper.
9.Avoid sticking with difficult Questions. If a question is difficult for you then just leave the question and attempt the next question.
These points can be really helpful for all of you who are going to appear in the Exam.
