Faculty training at Poornima University

A faculty training program “PASS-PORT-2015” aiming at overall development of engineer faculty members was organized at Poornima University, Jaipur. Seventy faculty members of Poornima University participated in this training. During course of the PASS-PORT-2015, manifestation of common consensus was emerged that “besides keeping dynamic approach for overall development of the engineering disciples, the engineering faculty needs to get resolve students problems aptly”.

In the training, modern techniques of teaching, paper and lecture note preparation, zero lecture, different administrative activities, proctor- tutor system, smart classroom, laboratories utilization, University examination, communication and interaction with students and their regular skill up gradation and other various issues were discussed at length. Different aspects of teaching were described by experts including Dr. R P Rajoria, Shashikant Singhi, Dr. Manoj Gupta, Dr. Chandani Kripalani and Rahul Singhi.

The training was focused on Effective Communication, Effective delivery of the contents and Effective Teaching Learning process. Demo sessions were also performed under the kind guidance of experts to support key thirst of the event.
