Federal Bank Officer and Clerk Recruitment 2017: Exam Pattern and Selection Process

Federal Bank has invites application to recruit officer and clerks in the organization. It is good opportunity for all banking aspirants.

Federal Bank Exam Pattern

Federal Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks is looking for young enthusiastic graduates who want to make their career in banking industry. The Bank is headquartered at Aluva, Kerala. The bank has recently announced notification for the recruitment for the post of Probationary officers and Clerks.

Educational Qualifications

1. Clerk

  • Candidates who completes / had completed Graduation with minimum 55% marks for Science discipline and minimum 50% marks for other streams during academic year 2016-17 in regular mode (completed and / or passed out in May / June 2017) from any recognized university.
  • Should have obtained minimum 60% marks for SSC or equivalent exam & 60% marks for Plus 2 or equivalent exam.

2. Officer

  • Candidates who completes / had completed Post Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks, during academic year 2016-17 in regular mode (completed and / or passed out in May / June 2017) from any recognized university.
  • Should have obtained minimum 60% marks for SSC or equivalent exam, 60% marks for Plus 2 or equivalent exam and 60% marks for graduation.

Age

  1. Clerk – Candidates shall not exceed 24 years as on 01.06.2017 (candidates should be born on or after 01.06.1993) for being eligible for the post of Clerk.
  2. Officer – Candidates shall not exceed 26 years as on 01.06.2017 (candidates should be born on or after 01.06.1991) for being eligible for the post of Officer.

Federal Bank Clerk Examination will be conducted in online mode, consists of 6 sections as given below:

 Note: There will be no sectional timings for different sections.

Mode of Selection:

Selection will be based on Online Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview

The online aptitude test will be followed by a psychometric questionnaire for a maximum duration of 15 minutes.

Only the short-listed candidates will be called for the second phase of selection process consisting of Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI). The short-listing of the candidates will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Online Aptitude Test.

Salary and Other Emoluments

Clerk:

The present compensation for the post of clerk on a cost to company basis [inclusive of all allowances & perquisites permissible] posted at Cochin is Rs. 3.61 Lakhs (approximately) per annum and the approximate monthly take home pay is Rs. 21,000/- (approx).

DA, HRA, CCA will be paid as per rules of the Bank in force from time to time depending upon the place of posting. Medical Aid, Hospitalization Scheme, Leave Fare Concession, retirement benefits and other perquisites will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.

Officer:

The present compensation for the post of Officer on a cost to company basis [inclusive of all allowances & perquisites permissible] posted at Cochin is Rs. 8.04 Lakhs (approximately) per annum and the approximate monthly take home pay is Rs. 43,000/- (approx).

DA, HRA, CCA will be paid as per rules of the Bank in force from time to time dependingupon the place of posting. Medical Aid, Hospitalization Scheme, Leave Fare Concession, retirement benefits and other perquisites will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.
