Around, 20212 candidates have applied to Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi (Business school) for admission to various MBA programmes for the year 2015. While a large number of 19027 CAT 2014 takers have applied to FMS Delhi for 200+ seats in MBA (Full time) 2015-17 batch in the coveted B school, a total of 1185 candidates have applied to MBA Executive programmes seeking admission on 198 seats.
Short listing criteria for FMS MBA Admissions 2015
Earlier, FMS used to conduct its own MBA entrance exam but now it has started accepting, CAT scores only. This is a good news for all those high scorers who have not been shortlisted by the leading IIMs.
From now onwards, for admissions, FMS is going to consider CAT overall percentile. The students wouldn’t be given any extra marks for work experience and gender diversity while being shortlisted for GDPI at FMS Delhi. Even the would-be graduates have equal chance of being called in the interview as other graduates with work experience. Although, the weight-age for work experience if any, will be given to candidates in final admission round.
Note: Those students, who have scored comparatively less in class 10th or 12th, need not to fear in any case.
