Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) University of Delhi has commenced the admission process to its flagship MBA 2018-20 Batch on October 5. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply for the institute latest by November 20, 2017. The aspirants need to apply for the institute through online mode only. The candidates shall note that FMS Delhi does not conduct any entrance exam to shortlist the candidates for admission. It considers the score of CAT 2017 as the initial criteria for further shortlisting of the candidates to grant admission to its full time MBA programme.
Eligibility Criteria for FMS
- Must have scored at least 50% marks (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45%) or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
- Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree may also apply.
- A minimum cut-off Score in CAT 2017 exam
How to apply for admission in FMS
All the interested candidates must follow the steps given below in order to apply for admission in FMS:
- Visit the official website of FMS Delhi
- Click on the ‘Admissions 2018’ link and then you will be redirected to another window.
- Fill in the form that comes on the window and submit all the details
Application Fee for admission
All the MBA applicants from general category interested in admission to FMS Delhi, shall pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- only and other categories candidates shall pay an application fee of Rs. 350/- only.
Selection Procedure @ FMS
FMS Delhi will commence the shortlisting of candidates after declaration of CAT 2017 results. In the 1st stage shortlisting process the institute will award weightage to CAT 2017 sectional scores in the ratio of 40%, 30% and 30% to VARC, DILR and Quant respectively. At the shortlisting stage, apart from the weightage to sectional scores, additional 3 marks will be added to the composite scores. The academic profile, work experience and other factors will also be taken into account but only at the final admission round. The final selection at FMS Delhi will be based on Extempore Speech and Personal interview. Thus FMS will not be conducting Group Discussion (GD) to shortlist the candidates. The candidates will be selected by the institute on the basis of his/her cumulative performance in the CAT 2017, extempore speech and personal interview.

For the full time 2 year MBA Programme FMS has kept a total intake of 200 students. The intake is subject to revisions as per the discretion of the institute. The category-wise bifurcation of the student intake is as follows:
