Forensic Science Laboratory Notified Recruitment to the Post of Assistants 2013

Government of NCT of Delhi Forensic Science Laboratory – Delhi invited applications for recruitment of 42 Scientific Assistants and 48 Laboratory Assistants on contractual basis in the various Divisions in Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi. Eligible candidates may attain walk-in-interview between 17 June 2013 to 21 June 2013 at 10.00 a.m. The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) is a wing of the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs, which fulfills the forensic requirements in the country. It houses the only DNA repository in South and Southeast Asia.

• Scientific Assistant (Biology): M.Sc. in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Human Biology or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany in B.Sc.
• Scientific Assistant (Document): M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry Forensic Science or Computer Science with Physics or Chemistry or computer science in B.Sc.
• Scientific Assistant (Physics): M.Sc. in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics in B.Sc.
• Scientific Assistant (Photo): Graduate Degree preferably in Science with Diploma in Photography
• Scientific Assistant (Ballistics): M.Sc. in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics in B.Sc.
• Scientific Assistant (Lie detection): Master Degree  in Psychology or Criminology

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in personal interview.

• Interested candidates may walk in for interview with detailed biodata at the Reception Counter of FSL, Rohini, between 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon on the schedule date of interview.
• Candidates are required to bring all original documents about their educational qualification and other relevant documents along with their self – attested photocopies at the time of interview.
• Candidates are also required to bring any Identity proof along with self – attested copy i.e. Driving License / Voter I Card / Adhaar Card /Bank pass book with photograph duly attested of any Nationalized Bank (at least 3 years old )/ pass port or any other proof deemed fit by this office.
