The GATE 2019 Final Answer Keys released by IIT Madras at gate.iitm.ac.in. Appeared students can download the question papers for all 24 subjects in PDF format. The computer based test was conducted for papers namely Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Civil Engineering (CE), Aerospace Engineering (AE), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), Agricultural Engineering (AG), Mathematics (MA), Architecture and Planning (AR), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Biotechnology (BT), Mining Engineering (MN), Metallurgical Engineering (MT), Chemical Engineering (CH), Petroleum Engineering (PE), Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), Physics (PH), Chemistry (CY), Production and Industrial Engineering (PI), Statistics (ST), Textile Engineering and Fibre Science (TF), Ecology and Evolution (EY), Engineering Sciences (XE), Geology and Geophysics (GG) and Life Sciences (XL). The exam was held in two sessions i.e., forenoon and afternoon session. The timing of forenoon session was from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM while the afternoon session was conducted between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

About GATE:
The GATE exam is conducted for admissions to Postgraduate Courses (Master’s and Doctoral) with MHRD and other Government Scholarships/Assistantships in Engineering /Technology /Architecture/ Science are available for those candidates who qualify GATE. Some of the PSUs also consider candidates’ GATE scores for their recruitment. Examinations for all the papers will be conducted as Computer Based Tests only. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February in total 8 shifts (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8).
