GATE Result 2014 Result Declared and available at IIT Kharagpur Website

    The Results for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2014 will be announced on the Online Application Website on 28 March 2014 at around 10.00AM.

    All the candidates who sat for the GATE 2014 will be able to access their results on the GATE’s official website: http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014/

    GATE 2014 was held from 01 February 2014 and 02 March 2014 during forenoon (09:00 AM to 12:00 noon) and afternoon (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) sessions on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination for candidates having undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and postgraduate level subjects in Science.

    The GATE score assists in getting admissions to post-graduate programs, e.g., M.E., M. Tech, direct Ph. D, in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies.

    For getting admissions in postgraduate programs or direct Ph.D in IITs, and IISc, a valid GATE score is required.

    GATE has been conducted jointly by seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), and Government of India.

    IIT Kharagpur is the organizing institution for the GATE 2014.
