Eligibility Criteria for Gauhati University Professor and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Professor/ Associate Professor: Possess Ph.D. Degree in the respective specialty or the Master’s Degree in concerned field as applicable.
2. Assistant Professor: Possess Master’s Degree in respective discipline and also qualify National Eligibility Test (NET) or SLET/ SET in appropriate discipline.

Experience Required:

1. Professor: 10/ 13 years (whichever applicable).
2. Associate Professor: 05/ 08 years (whichever applicable)
