Eligibility Criteria for Goa PSC Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor/ Lecturer: Possess Post- Graduate Degree in the respective discipline.

Lecturer / Veterinary Officer/ Principal/ Asst. Chemist/: Possess Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline.   Child Dev. Project Officer/ Social Welfare Officer    

Police Prosecutor/ Stores Officer/ Assistant Stores Officer: Possess Degree in concerned field.

Assistant Professor/ Librarian/: Possess Master’s Degree in the respective discipline with NET qualified.

Associate Professor (Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering): Possess Ph.D. Degree in the respective specialty.

Pathologist: Possess PG Diploma in the concerned field.

Experience Required to apply for Goa Public Service Commission, Goa Vacancy: having a relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field for the respective posts.

Professor: 10 years.

Associate Professor: 04/ 05 years (whichever applicable).

Assistant Professor: 01 year.

Lecturer: 01/ 03 years (whichever applicable).

Police Prosecutor/ Stores Officer: 03 years.

Assistant Stores Officer/ Associate Professor: 05 years.

Pathologist: 02 years.

Age Limit 

Gen: as on 01 October 2016.

Principal: Not exceeding 50 years.

Rest all other posts: Not exceeding 45 years.

OBC: Relaxation of 03 years.

SC/ ST candidates: Relaxation of 05 years.

PWD/ Ex- Serv./ Other candidates: As per norms.

Selection Procedure Goa PSC Recruitment 2016

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test and/ or Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
