Goa Shipyard Limited, a Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defence, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy, Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. It invites application from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the post of Technical Assistant (Quality Assurance).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Shipbuilding technology/ Mechanical Engineering/ Fabrication Engineering

Experience Required: 2 years Inspection experience in Shipyards, Ship repair Firms or equivalent. Personnel working in heavy Industries, and possessing proven experience in Fabrication inspection of Steel structures can also be considered.

Age Limit (as on 30 November 2011): Maximum 28 years

Pay Scale: Rs 6600- 3%- 22200 (W-6).
