Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Health Department of Haryana

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Medicine and Surgery of a recognized University or any recognized equivalent degree of any other University or Institutions recognized by the Medical Council of India
• Must be registered with Haryana or Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India
• Adequate knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit

Preference will be given to candidates who have Post Graduate qualifications, experience in professional work and have worked in rural areas

Age Limit (as on 1 October 2011): Minimum 22 years; Maximum 40 years

Pay Scale: Rs 9300- 34800; Grade Pay Rs 5400+ NPA

Application Fee for recruitment in Health Department of Haryana: Application fee for General Category Ex- Servicemen Candidates is Rs 500 and fee for SC/ BC/ PH/ ESM persons of Haryana only is Rs 250.

The fee should either be deposited in the Haryana Government Treasury under the Head Treasury Major Head 0210, Sub Major Head 04, Minor Head 800 Sub Head 98 51 "0210-Medical and Public Health, 01-Urban Health Services, 800-Other Receipt (92)-Other Items".

Candidates can also send fee through Bank Draft in favour of Director General Health Services, Haryana Panchkula Payable at Panchkula. This draft must be attached with Application Form.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.
