Hike in MBA Fees: Approved by AFRC

The Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) of Madhya Pradesh has approved a fee hike of upto Rs. 9,500/- per semester for MBA courses.

Admission & Fees Regulatory Committee (AFRC) is constituted by Madhya Pradesh Act 21 of 2007 of Madhya Pradesh Niji Vyavsayik Shikshan Sanstha (Pravesh Ka Viniyaman Avam Shulk Ka Nirdharan) Adhiniyam, 2007. It looks into the fee fixation and regulation of fee structure in Private Un-Aided Professional Colleges in A.P.

As per the notification issued by AFRC, 150 MBA colleges/institutes imparting education through regular mode and 4  MBA colleges/institutes imparting education through Online mode have been considered for the fee hike. Further, only 26 colleges were finalized for the fee hike as per the decision of the committee. Fee of different colleges has been hiked from Rs 1200/- to Rs 9500/-.

The fee hike has been revised for the coming 3 years i.e. 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19.

For MBA Part-Time colleges, AFRC has increased fee by Rs 20,000. Colleges under MBA Part-Time Course with Fee hike are mentioned below:

1. Bhabha Management Research Institute, Bhopal
2. Institute of Business Management Research, Indore
3. Prestige Institute of Management Research, Indore
4. Technocrat Institute of Technology

AFRC had also increased the fee of various pharmacy courses as well.
