IAS Topper 2019 Vishal Sah Rank 63 shares his journey to IAS
IAS Topper Vishal Sah has secured Rank 63 in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The UPSC conducts this exam each year for the recruitment in the All India Services and the Central Civil Services which includes the Indian Foreign Services Exam.
IAS Topper 2018 Vishal Sah has got the 63rd Rank in the Civil Services Exam 2018 and has scored the highest number in the Sociology Optional Subject in the IAS Main (written) Exam. He belongs to Arunachal Pradesh and has his ancestral roots in Bihar.
He is a very dedicated person towards the goal he set for himself. He believes in the focused IAS Preparation. He suggests freezing the study material for the IAS Preparation and focusing on it only.
Now an IAS Topper Vishal Sah had also taken the help from the IAS Toppers interviews given at various platforms including Jagranjosh.com and went for the suggested resources for the IAS preparation. His mantra was to freeze the study material, finish it and revise it multiple times. Notes preparing is an important component in the whole IAS Preparation Strategy.
He says the notes should be such concise so that it can be revised in one week’s time prior to the IAS Exam and should be prepared by the aspirant himself so that he can build his own opinion. The second important determinant in the IAS Preparation is the Revision of the said notes. In his interview, he was very thankful to the Ecosystem created in Delhi for the IAS Preparation. For the IAS Prelims Exam, he shared that he took various mock papers of the coaching institutes and take the test in the simulated conditions of the exam.
He said that the state is the Social Entrepreneur in his state and he also wants to contribute for the larger good of the society. His state lacks the infrastructure facilities and he wants to increase the pace of development in his state. Apart from mother and father, he has one sister and two twin brothers in his family who helped him in his IAS Preparation.
He also acknowledges the gratitude towards his friends for the constant support and helps they have provided to him. He said that he is blessed to have such friends. He got Indian Railway Personnel Services in his previous attempt in 2017. But he took leave and continued his preparation for the IAS Exam. He suggested the future candidates to not to take a break from the IAS Preparation and must go through the whole cycle of the IAS Exam in order the make the preparation formidable for the next attempt.
