IB Recruitment 2024: The Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs has published a notification for recruitment to the post of ACIO, JIO, SA and others. The notification is published in the employment newspaper. A total of 660 vacancies shall be filled through this recruitment. The recruitment will be done on a deputation basis. Eligibility Criteria for IB Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-I/Executive -  Officers under the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces: (i)holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent; and two years’ experience in security or intelligence work.
• Jr Intelligence Officer - Officers of the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or
• Defence forces:- Matriculate or equivalent from a recognized board, and holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level 4 (Rs. 25,500- 81,100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
