ICAR - Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bengaluru invited applications for the posts of Young Professional – I and other posts for the various projects and schemes. Posts are purely on Temporary Basis for the specific period of time whereas few posts may be extended further as per requirement. The eligible candidates can apply to the posts in the prescribed format so as to reach on or before 19 December 2016 up to 05:00 PM.

1. Young Professional – I – 04 Posts. [01 post each under 04 different projects]
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 02 Posts. [01 post each under 02 different projects]
3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01 Post
4. Technical Assistant – 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria for ICAR - IIHR Bengaluru Young Professional – I and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Young Professional – I/ Technical Assistant: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate discipline.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Possess Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in the respective discipline.

Experience Required: Having 03/ 02 years (whichever applicable) of relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field for the respective posts of Young Professional - I.

Age Limit:

Gen: as on last date of receipt of application.

Young Professional – I/ Technical Assistant: Between 21 to 40 years.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Not exceeding 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Not exceeding 30 years for men and 35 years for women

OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Others: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for ICAR - IIHR Bengaluru Young Professional – I and Other Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
