Eligibility Criteria for Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Filed Assistant and Office Assistant Job
Educational Qualification
- Senior Research Fellow (ICAR Research Project): Master's degree in any one of discipline/ Subject Agricultural Extension /Veterinary Extension /Dairy Extension/ Agribusiness Management/ Dairy Economics/Livestock Economics/ Agricultural Economics/ Economics/ Agricultural Sciences with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
- Field Assistant (ICAR Research Project): Graduate degree from a recognized University.
- Field Assistant (ICAR Young Professional Scheme): Graduate degree from a recognized University in any one of discipline/ Subject Dairy Science/Agricultural Science/Life Science/Computer Science/ Humanities.
- Research Associate (XII Plan Scheme Incentivizing Research): Ph.D degree in Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics/Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry /Animal Genetics/Animal Physiology/ Livestock Production Management/ Life Sciences with thesis work in Large Animal Reproduction/Protein Science (Experience in Recombinant protein expression, Protein purification, proteomics in the area of reproductive biology). OR M.V.Sc/M.Sc degree in any one of discipline/Subject Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics/Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Genetics/ Livestock Production Management /Animal Physiology/ Life Sciences with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training /other engagements.
- Senior Research Fellow (XII Plan Scheme Incentivizing Research): M.V.Sc/ M.Sc degree in any one of discipline/ Subject Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics/Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry /Animal Genetics and Breeding /Animal Physiology/ Life Sciences with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
- Office Assistant (XII Plan Scheme Incentivizing Research): Graduate degree in any branch of Science/ Commerce/Arts from a recognized University with good communication skill in English (Written and Spoken). Candidate should be able to operate MS-Word, Microsoft Excel.
- Research Associate (Inspire Network for Environment Research Project): Ph.D degree in Animal Nutrition/ Animal Physiology/Microbiology/Environment al Science/Allied Sciences supported by Ph.D thesis work or research papers.
Age Limit for Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Filed Assistant and Office Assistant Job
- Research Associate: 40 years for men and 45 years for women
- Senior Research Fellow & Field Assistant: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
- Office Assistant: 18-45 years
