ICAR-Central Research Institute for Jute & Allied Fibres (CRIJAF) invited the candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate on contractual basis under different TMJ projects. The candidates eligible for the post can come down for walk-in interview on respective dates.

Under ICAR-Central Research Institute for Jute & Allied Fibres Recruitment 2016, out of total of 07 posts, 01 post is allotted to Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 9), 01 post is allotted to Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 4), 01 post is allotted to Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 5), 01 post is allotted to Research Associate (TMJ Project No. 8), 01 post is allotted to Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 2), 01 post is allotted to Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 6) and 01 post is allotted to Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 10).

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 9) – Candidates must have Master’s degree in Agronomy/Plant Physiology/Genetics/Plant Breeding or relevant subject with 04 years/05 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR

Candidates must have Master’s degree in Botany/Plant Physiology/Genetics/Plant Breeding or Life Science with NET qualification and having at least 2 years of research experience.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 4) – Candidates must have done M.Sc (Ag.) in Agronomy with B.Sc. (Ag.) 4 years honors course and having experience on related works.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 5) - Candidates must have done M.Sc (Ag.) in Agronomy with B.Sc. (Ag.) 4 years honors course and having experience on related works.

Eligibility for Research Associate (TMJ Project No. 8) – Candidates must have done Ph.D degree in Agricultural Chemistry & Soil Science/Microbiology/Agronomy or relevant subject.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 2) – Candidates must have done B.Sc. Agriculture (4 years) and M.Sc in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Agril. Biotechnology with NET qualification.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 6) - Candidates must have done B.Sc. Agriculture (4 years) and M.Sc in Agril. Microbiology with at least 2 years of research experience.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (TMJ Project No. 10) - Candidates must have done B.Sc. Agriculture (4 years) and M.Sc in Seed Sciences/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Agril. Biotechnology with NET qualification.
